This Week!

Hey everyone!

I had a full/amazing week of ministry last weekend which ended well with discipleship last night. As always I LOVE Monday nights with you all. Here’s what’s up this week:

  1. Gravity and Gladness Lessons 8 & 9.
  2. April 23rd is our breakout night on the church campus. All musicians will group up by instrument for an awesome night of fellowship, training, and discussion. Drummers and percussionist will spend the evening with Cary Nasatir (http://www.nsopdrums.com/). Dude’s off the hook! Bass players will hang with Joaquin and Ted, etc… If you know of anyone outside of discipleship team or worship team that could benefit from this, let me know, all are invited. This is an opportunity to raise up musicians and worshipers in a very practical way.
  3. If you’d like to follow Randy and Krystal Odom, here is their blog: http://kampucheakids.wordpress.com/. Also for those that were with us Saturday night and would like more info of E3 and the Chisomo Idea here you go: http://chisomoidea.com/   http://www.jdsmalawi.com/

Love you all!

Homework, Text Messages, Xchange for Change

Hey everyone!

3 Things:

  1. Homework for this week: Lessons 4 & 5 in “Gravity & Gladness”. Most important questions are the ones with stars next to them. Again, if you do two “DAYS” a day, you will be done by Monday. Please do the work, it extremely important for discussion time, and WORTH IT!!
  2. If you would like to receive text messages with updates and homework, email me: Paul@3crosses.org and we’ll set you up tomorrow.
  3. March 24th, 2012. “Xchange for Change”. 6pm. First Baptist Church of CV. An incredible time to hear what God is doing in Malawi, Africa as well as a powerful time of worship with different churches in the area. I’ll be leading the worship, Jere Lester from First Baptist hosting. Our speakers will be Sam Kawale from the organization “E3″ and who will one day be president of Malawi, and Noel Noxy Musicha from The Chisomo Idea . I am SUPER stoked about this night, and you are ALL invited. We’ll talk a little more about the night and the Xchange for Change experiment next Monday night.

In Christ,

Paul

A couple things:

  1. Make sure to bring your covenants tonight, we will sign them after worship.
  2. Bring you Gravity and Gladness books, and make sure to have Lessons 2 and 3 (pgs. 13-38) done by tonight. We will be jumping right in!

Open Arms Ukraine THIS SAT. NIGHT!!

Hey everyone!

I realize this is late notice, but I thought I’d send it out to our entire discipleship family.

This Saturday night, Cathy and I are hosting Annie Carbonaro from the ministry Open Arms Ukraine.

http://openarmsukraine.blogspot.com/

OAU is an incredible organization that works with youth and orphans. The website will fill you in on the particulars. Anyway, this Saturday night from 7:30-9:30, she will be at our house sharing vision, asking for prayer, and looking for partners.

At the very least come get a global perspective on what God is doing around the world, and at most, pray through how you can be a support to Annie and her team.

No pressure to come, but if you all could RSVP a simple: “I’m in!” or “I’m out” back to me (Paul@3crosses.org) when you read this, that would help to see how many people we need to prepare for, and what you might be able to bring with you :) .

In Christ,

Paul
